Inlay Collection – Chest of drawers

Inlay by Porro interprets the tradition of inlay through a contemporary language, transforming the surface of the cabinet into an expressive, three-dimensional element. The design stems from the interplay of geometric shapes that appear to intersect in space, creating a rhythmic and dynamic composition. Four different shades of oak alternate across the surface, separated by slender dark profiles that define their contours and emphasise the depth of the pattern. The craftsmanship recalls an ancient and precious technique, reinterpreted with an essential and rigorous sensibility. The result is a furnishing accessory in which material, geometry and craftsmanship coexist in a measured balance, transforming the cabinet into a true architectural element within the space. Inlay thus reflects Porro’s research into materials and surfaces: a design capable of combining heritage and contemporaneity through precision of detail and the natural expressiveness of wood. The solid oak handles and natural oak interiors complete the project, maintaining the same attention to detail reserved for the exterior surface even in its most functional elements.
