Features
Cesca is a chair designed by Marcel Breuer for Knoll, offered here in the armless version. It features a tubular steel frame and a hand-woven beech seat and backrest using the traditional Viennese cane technique. Designed in 1929, it represents one of the icons of modern design and one of the earliest examples of metal used in interior furniture. A pioneer of the Modern Movement, Breuer explored the bending of tubular steel, creating a chair that is lightweight, essential, and revolutionary for its time. The armless version highlights its functional vocation and visual lightness, making it ideal as a dining chair, kitchen chair, or for contract and office spaces. A timeless icon of contemporary design, it fits discreetly into any environment while adding character, balance, and formal refinement.
