Design, architecture and comics: an unexpected alliance for an innovative collection, the result of a collaboration between the famous Spanish company Nekko design, the design studio R2+ and the famous cartoonist Milo Manara.
The result is a line of furnishing accessories characterised by innovative forms and materials, made unique by the provocative work of the Italian cartoonist, incorporated with great skill and aesthetic care into each individual item. Studying each accessory shows how architectural-structural and geometric design concepts have been pushed to the limit, because the objects presented are characterised by the extreme use of very thin metal sheets, structural glass sheets, membranes under tension, inflatable balloons and light panels of different types. Here then are the tables of the Takkram collection, light-weight, sturdy, with a glass top and base made of metal blades joined together to form a geometric shape that can be reproduced in any proportion like in origami, and the Bolltrasformabile armchair that can be transformed into a modern rocking chair thanks to the deformation of the ball. In addition, there are also LED light panels, pictures and screens, all of which are the brainchild of architect Piqueras Fisk and designed by Manara.
