Spaghetti Collection – Chair

Spaghetti is a chair designed by Giandomenico Belotti for Alias. It features a chrome-plated steel frame and a seat and backrest made with the iconic woven PVC cord, a distinctive element that has made this collection one of the most recognizable in the history of Italian design. Designed in 1979, Spaghetti marked the beginning of Alias and still represents a benchmark in contemporary design. The lightness of the tubular structure meets the flexibility of the woven covering, resulting in a seating solution that is essential, comfortable, and remarkably contemporary. Included in the permanent collections of the MoMA in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan, it is recognized as a true icon of international design.
