Zenucchi partner di “Sei+Sei Croci per Carisma”

The exhibition ‘Sei+Sei Croci per Carisma‘ curated by Enrico Baleri was inaugurated on 6 December at the Carisma Foundation, Casa di Ricovero Santa Maria Ausiliatrice ONLUS in Bergamo.
The project stemmed from the Foundation’s request to “furnish” every space, every room with a crucifix, in keeping with tradition, and to meet the need expressed by the House’s guests to be able to admire the symbol rooted in our history.
Enrico Baleri thought of an idea, the simplest but also the most forward-looking for a crucifix, and therefore invited six artists, in his opinion the most capable of interpreting it best:
Giovanni Anceschi, Cinzia Benigni, Pierluigi Cerri, Rada Koželj, Andrea Mastrovito, Jasmine Pignatelli, joined by six young students from the Accademia Carrara di Belle Arti: Laura Baffi, Andrea Baleri, Valentina Goretti, Umberto Meroni, Anna Pezzoli and Pietro Vitali.
The result is twelve works that will be the subject of the exhibition ‘Sei+Sei Croci per Carisma’ (Six + Six Crucifixes for Charisma), which will be organised in the entrance hall of the Foundation and will remain there for a month before becoming a travelling exhibition throughout Italy.
The works to be displayed permanently in the guest rooms, but also in the common areas and the offices, were therefore reproduced in decals and wood in dimensions of approximately 33×23 cm. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue with texts, projects and biographies of the artists.
