Vis à vis Collection – Stool

Vis-à-vis, designed by Marco Carini for Agape in 2022, is a cork stool with an essential and tactile character, naturally suited to contemporary interiors. Its form originates from a simple design gesture: a portion of the cylindrical body is removed, creating a curve that follows the radius of the base and defines a soft, recognisable silhouette. This distinctive geometry allows the element to be placed alongside other stools, creating linear or curved compositions, while the same concavity makes it possible to sit comfortably facing one another. Made entirely from natural or toasted cork, Vis-à-vis reflects Agape’s exploration of authentic materials and forms capable of combining function and sensitivity. Its visual lightness and resistance to contact with water extend its use from the bathroom to outdoor spaces, where it can also serve as a practical surface. A discreet and versatile design complement, where the simplicity of the material meets a geometry conceived to create a relationship between the elements.
