Solid Collection – Mirror

Solid is a design mirror by Diego Vencato and Marco Merendi for Agape, born from research into material and light that transforms a functional element into a sculptural presence. Its soft and irregular shape recalls the image of a drop of molten metal, reinterpreted through blown glass, a technique with a millenary tradition. The surface of the frame undergoes a special metal coating treatment that creates a reflective effect when the internal light is switched off, while, once switched on, it allows the light to filter through the glass. The result is a contemporary bathroom mirror where transparency, reflections and material alternate, creating an ever-changing perception of the object. Solid thus interprets the mirror as an architectural and luminous element, capable of defining the space through an organic form and a discreet presence.
