Occhiolino Collection – Outdoor lamp

OcchiOlinO by Davide Groppi is an outdoor floor lamp that interprets light through a subtle and almost imperceptible presence. The project stems from the image of a small luminous insect suspended at the top of a slender stem, translating this idea into an essential form designed to integrate into the landscape. The matt black fibreglass stem supports a light source in anodised aluminium and transparent methacrylate, defining a lightweight silhouette in which the structure seems almost to disappear. The integrated LED light is precise and discreet, designed to accompany pathways, gardens and outdoor spaces without overpowering them. The spike mounting allows the lamp to be placed directly into the ground, while its compact proportions further enhance its discreet character. OcchiOlinO thus expresses a concept of outdoor lighting in which light does not invade the landscape, but highlights selected details and accompanies its perception during the evening hours. A project in which Davide Groppi’s research into simplicity translates into an essential lighting element, capable of creating atmosphere through a few gestures and an almost invisible presence.
