Molecola Collection – Table

Designed by Massimo Castagna for Gallotti&Radice in 2024, the Molecola dining table stems from an exploration of material forms and molecular structures, translated into a contemporary design with a strong sculptural expression. The 15 mm-thick transparent tempered glass top reveals the base beneath, composed of hand-crafted wooden cylinders with a hand-applied spatulated finish, connected in a dynamic composition that recalls the arrangement of atomic elements. The contrast between the transparency of the glass and the material presence of the base creates a composition in which visual lightness and solidity coexist naturally. The artisanal woodwork, with its distinctive nuances and irregularities, adds depth to the surface and enhances the material research that characterises Gallotti&Radice. Designed for the dining area, Molecola is a designer dining table that interprets conviviality through an architectural and organic language, giving the space a measured yet distinctive presence.
