Lenta Collection – LED floor lamp

Lenta by Davide Groppi is an outdoor floor lamp that interprets light through a simple and familiar image: that of a lantern. Designed by Bestetti Associati and Davide Groppi in 2011, it stems from research into so-called slow-light, a way of illuminating space with a soft, diffuse and discreet presence. The luminous body, enclosed by a methacrylate diffuser, produces an even light that gently spreads throughout the surroundings. Its essential form and lightweight character recall the idea of the traditional lantern, reinterpreted through contemporary materials and a construction designed for outdoor use. Lenta does not seek to draw attention to a single element of the landscape, but rather accompanies the outdoor space with a diffuse glow, creating an intimate and natural atmosphere. Its presence integrates into gardens, terraces and convivial spaces, where light becomes part of the experience of the environment without prevailing over the architecture. With Lenta, Davide Groppi brings a slower and more measured approach to outdoor lighting, where form, material and atmosphere come together to transform light into an element capable of accompanying the landscape in the evening hours.
