Colosseo Collection – Coffee table

Colosseo fits into a very successful product category: service accessories. Furnishing elements that change their function according to occasions and needs, changing, in the case of Colosseo, from a coffee table to a footstool. In designing this new object, Fukasawa arrived at the desired shape by thinking of an inverted truncated cone-shaped solid lightened by arch-shaped recesses that define its surface, thus creating a similarity with the structure of the famous Roman arena, from which it takes its name.
