Calma T Collection – Table lamp

Calma T by Davide Groppi is a table lamp that interprets light through a simple and recognisable form: a luminous sphere resting on an essential base. Designed by Alberto Zattin in 2026, it stems from the search for a discreet presence capable of bringing a soft and enveloping light into the space. At the heart of the project is the spherical diffuser in opal glass, made of three layers of blown glass. Its uniform surface gently diffuses the light, transforming the light source into an almost immaterial presence. The pure geometry of the sphere contrasts with the aluminium base, defining an object with essential proportions and a contemporary identity. Calma T embodies a concept of the table lamp in which the form does not seek to impose itself, but accompanies the space through light. Its presence is designed to create an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, with a luminosity that becomes part of the environment rather than simply a functional element. In Davide Groppi’s language, simplicity thus becomes a design tool: a few elements, a primary geometry and a soft light come together in a lamp that naturally integrates into contemporary interiors. Calma T is an essential project, built around the relationship between light, material and the perception of space.
