Adda Collection – Bed

Adda is the bed designed by Antonio Citterio for Flexform in 2017, extending the clean, contemporary aesthetic of the eponymous sofa into the bedroom. The design is distinguished by the contrast between the generous upholstered headboard and the slender metal base, a choice that visually lightens the structure and defines its essential character. The headboard consists of two soft goose-down cushions, outlined with piping and featuring longitudinal stitching that creates a subtle rippling effect across the surface, becoming a distinctive detail of the design. The simplicity of the lines allows the material and proportions to take centre stage, enabling the Adda bed to integrate naturally into different interiors while expressing, through fabrics and leathers, the attention to detail that characterises Flexform’s design approach. A discreet and contemporary piece in which comfort and formal rigour come together in a measured synthesis.
