The union of opposites
Rebis was born from the encounter between a precise gastronomic vision and the desire to shape it within a space capable of expressing it. Rebis is an alchemy of taste and vision: a subtle balance between opposites in transformation, between matter and experience. The choice of a historic building in the heart of Desenzano del Garda introduces structural and emotional constraints that become an integral part of the project, requiring respect, sensitivity, and awareness, without compromise. Zenucchi Design Code accompanies this narrative by translating the identity of the place into an intense, intimate environment, where light and shadow, fullness and void, rigor and sensuality coexist in constant dialogue. The entrance acts as a threshold, a hall that slows time and prepares guests for the experience, from which two complementary souls unfold: one more intimate and measured, and the other convivial, both connected to an open kitchen that reveals the gesture and the story behind it.
Matter, light, time by Henge
Henge is the protagonist of the project, expressed through a coordinated ensemble of furnishings and lighting solutions that flows throughout the entire space. Its strong presence creates a cohesive and transversal identity, where every element contributes to a complete and coherent design system, deeply integrated with the architecture. Material is Rebis’ true language. The Ozone counter, with its Stone finish in Purple Storm, introduces a deep, vibrant surface veined to evoke the natural strength of stone. Different textures, from soft, velvety suede to more compact, silky nubuck, along with burnished metals and stone surfaces, are combined with careful precision. Pewter cast metals interact with burnished platinum, steel, and titanium finishes, producing controlled, tactile reflections. Precious woods, such as natural featherwood, complete a measured and enveloping palette. Rebis thus reveals itself as a space to be experienced slowly, where design accompanies the journey, and time itself becomes part of the story.
