A refined and comfortable home, designed for relaxation in a natural setting
In the heart of the Saracen village of Varigotti, an ancient residence comes back to life thanks to this restoration project. A home designed to offer a stylish and relaxing retreat, ideal for a family wishing to live immersed in greenery without sacrificing comfort and design. In collaboration with architect Emanuele Rosso of RE Design Studio, a project was developed that combines natural materials and high-quality solutions. The outdoor area is a private oasis: a courtyard filled with plants and flowers, featuring a bamboo gazebo that shelters the cozy and secluded dining area, furnished with Roda sofas and table. The space is enhanced by colorful Dedon armchairs and poufs. Outdoor lighting includes decorative lamps such as Ares’s Lamegadina and Vibia’s pendant lights, while an outdoor shower with a wooden platform by Kos invites you to refresh after a day at the beach. Inside, the parquet flooring and lime-effect walls create a warm and luminous atmosphere.

The white Poliform kitchen, with worktops and backsplashes in Dekton Berger and a touch of aged wood in the custom-made wall unit, is completed by an island and Lapalma stools—perfect for social gatherings. The suspended Porro bookcase with glass doors adds a touch of design and elegance to the pantry area. The living and sleeping areas are furnished with the family’s existing pieces, complemented by designer lighting, resulting in elegant and functional spaces. De Padova, Flos, and Davide Groppi bring a contemporary feel to the home. The bathrooms are little gems: glossy tiles with geometric patterns in the colors of the sea and sky, Boffi furnishings, accessories by Agape, Opinion Ciatti, and Flaminia—all enriched with custom details that make each space unique. The hallway houses a custom-made wardrobe with a blue interior, echoing the sea, while linen curtains—provided by us—complete the space with elegance. In the evening, the outdoor area becomes even more romantic, as the lighting gently comes on with the setting sun.
